Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FlyRank (the "Site," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from www.flyrank.com, the AI Visibility tool at ai-visibility.flyrank.ai, or any other website, subdomain, application or product operated by FlyRank (collectively, the "Site" and "Services"), or otherwise communicate with us regarding the Services. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, free-tool user, website visitor, or another individual whose information we have collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by applicable law.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy covers personal information collected through:

  • The flyrank.com website and any subdomains we operate;
  • The AI Visibility tool at ai-visibility.flyrank.ai, a free dashboard that connects to your Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") property to surface AI-referred traffic and a site-readiness audit;
  • Any FlyRank Shopify app, browser extension, API, or other software we make available;
  • Email and other communications you exchange with us; and
  • Marketing, sales, and customer-support interactions.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

To provide the Services, we collect and have collected over the past 12 months personal information about you from a variety of sources, as set out below. The information that we collect and use varies depending on how you interact with us.

In addition to the specific uses set out below, we may use information we collect about you to communicate with you, provide or improve the Services, comply with any applicable legal obligations, enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

What Personal Information We Collect

The types of personal information we obtain about you depend on how you interact with our Site and use our Services. When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies, relates to, describes or can be associated with you. The following sections describe the categories and specific types of personal information we collect.

Information We Collect Directly from You

Information that you directly submit to us through our Services may include:

  • Contact details including your name, address, phone number, and email.
  • Order information including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address, and phone number.
  • Account information including your username, password, security questions and other information used for account security purposes.
  • Free-tool registration and installation information including your name, work email, the GA4 property or domain you select, and any preferences you set in the AI Visibility dashboard.
  • Customer support information including the information you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when sending a message through the Services.

Some features of the Services may require you to directly provide us with certain information about yourself. You may elect not to provide this information, but doing so may prevent you from using or accessing these features.

Information We Collect about Your Usage

We may also automatically collect certain information about your interaction with the Services ("Usage Data"). To do this, we may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies ("Cookies"). Usage Data may include information about how you access and use our Site and your account, including device information, browser information, information about your network connection, your IP address, dashboard interactions (such as features viewed, audits run, settings changed) and other information regarding your interaction with the Services.

Information We Collect through Google API Services

When you use the AI Visibility tool, you sign in with Google and grant FlyRank read-only access to a Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") property of your choice. We may also access certain data through other Google API Services (such as Google Search Console) when you connect your Google account.

This Google data is collected solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of our Services. For details on how this data is handled, see the "Google API Services User Data" section below.

Information We Collect on Installation and Sign-In

When you install, sign in to, or activate any of our Services — including the AI Visibility tool — we receive a notification that you have done so. This installation/sign-in event includes basic account information (such as your name and email address) and the GA4 property or domain you choose to connect. We use this notification to provision the Service, contact you about your account, and as further described in the "Marketing and Advertising" section below.

Information We Obtain from Third Parties

Finally, we may obtain information about you from third parties, including from vendors and service providers who may collect information on our behalf, such as:

  • Companies who support our Site and Services, such as Shopify (e-commerce platform), Google (sign-in and analytics), and our cloud hosting and email-delivery providers.
  • Our payment processors, who collect payment information (e.g., bank account, credit or debit card information, billing address) to process your payment in order to fulfill your orders and provide you with products or services you have requested, in order to perform our contract with you.

When you visit our Site, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our Services or advertisements, we, or third parties we work with, may automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries, and cookies. Any information we obtain from third parties will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Also see the section below, "Third Party Websites and Links."

How We Use Your Personal Information

Providing Products and Services

We use your personal information to provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including to process your payments, fulfill your orders, to send notifications to you related to your account, purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, to create, maintain and otherwise manage your account, to arrange for shipping, facilitate any returns and exchanges and other features and functionalities related to your account. For free Services such as the AI Visibility tool, we use your information to authenticate you, connect to the GA4 property you select, generate dashboards, run readiness audits, surface insights, and respond to your support requests.

Marketing and Advertising

We may use your personal information for marketing and promotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising and promotional communications by email, text message or postal mail, and to show you advertisements for products or services. This may include using your personal information to better tailor the Services and advertising on our Site and other websites. By creating an account, installing or signing in to a Free Service (including the AI Visibility tool), or otherwise providing your contact details to FlyRank, you agree that we may use the contact information you provide and information about how you use our Services to send you these communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us.

If you are an EEA, UK, or Swiss resident, the legal basis for these data processing activities is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, or our legitimate interest in promoting our products and growing our business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), where applicable. If you are a Canadian resident, we rely on your express or implied consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation ("CASL"). If you are a U.S. resident, we comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.

Data obtained through Google API Services is never used for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.

Security and Fraud Prevention

We use your personal information to detect, investigate or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity. If you choose to use the Services and register an account, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We highly recommend that you do not share your username, password, or other access details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Communicating with You and Service Improvement

We use your personal information to provide you with customer support and improve our Services. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you, to provide effective services to you, and to maintain our business relationship with you according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Google API Services User Data

FlyRank's use and transfer to any other product of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect your Google account to our application, we may access data from Google API Services (such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console) to provide and improve the user-facing features of our application.

How We Use Google User Data

We use data obtained through Google API Services solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of our application, including:

  • Displaying your website performance metrics, search analytics, GA4 traffic data, and indexation status within the FlyRank dashboard.
  • Identifying and attributing traffic referred from AI assistants and large language model platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot).
  • Providing actionable insights, channel-mix breakdowns, decay tracking, and recommendations based on your site's search and AI-referral performance data.
  • Monitoring and reporting on your website's organic traffic, keyword rankings, and technical SEO health.

Restrictions on Google User Data

We do not use data obtained through Google API Services for any purpose other than providing or improving user-facing features of our application. Specifically, we do not:

  • Use Google user data for targeted advertising, personalized advertisements, retargeted advertisements, or interest-based advertisements.
  • Sell Google user data to data brokers or any third party.
  • Provide Google user data to information resellers.
  • Use Google user data for determining credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
  • Use Google user data to create independent databases unrelated to the application's core functionality.
  • Use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models unrelated to providing or improving the user-facing features of our application.

Transfer and Sharing of Google User Data

We do not transfer or share Google user data with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • As necessary to provide or improve user-facing features of our application (e.g., cloud hosting infrastructure that processes the data on our behalf).
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with the user's prior consent.

All third-party service providers that process Google user data on our behalf are bound by contractual obligations to handle such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Revocation of Access

You may revoke our access to your Google account data at any time through your Google Account permissions settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting from within the AI Visibility dashboard. Upon revocation, we will cease accessing new data from your Google account and will delete any stored Google user data — including the encrypted refresh token and any cached analytics — within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

Cookies

Like many websites, we use Cookies on our Site. We use Cookies to power and improve our Site and our Services (including to remember your actions and preferences), to run analytics and better understand user interaction with the Services. We may also permit third parties and service providers to use Cookies on our Site to better tailor the services, products and advertising on our Site and other websites. Cookies on our Site do not access, collect, or process any data obtained through Google API Services.

Most browsers automatically accept Cookies by default, but you can choose to set your browser to remove or reject Cookies through your browser controls. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking Cookies can negatively impact your user experience and may cause some of the Services to work incorrectly or no longer be available.

Our website also recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which enables you to opt-out of certain uses or disclosures of your information. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals.

reCAPTCHA

This site is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to help prevent spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA works in the background without requiring any action from you — it analyzes user behavior to distinguish humans from bots and assigns a risk score.

By using our contact form or other interactive features, you acknowledge that your interaction data may be processed by Google reCAPTCHA. This data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms). FlyRank does not use reCAPTCHA data for any purpose other than spam and bot protection.

How We Disclose Personal Information

In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for contract fulfillment purposes, legitimate purposes and other reasons subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:

  • With vendors or other third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g., IT management, cloud hosting, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, email delivery, fulfillment and shipping).
  • With business and marketing partners to provide services and advertise to you. This does not include any data obtained through Google API Services.
  • When you direct, request us or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties.
